A bit confused, Alessia could not understand how the three Chiefs were so sure that she would become the fourth Chief.
“Ah, but still work hard, alright? A talent not cultivated is a talent wasted, after all,” Lilli spoke.
“Um, I understand,” Alessia replies with a slight nod.
“Hm, when you become Chief, make sure to get a weapon worthy of your abilities,” Alexander says with a smirk.
How should I react to this…? Alessia thought to herself, I should at least respond politely.
“Then I will make sure to become Chief as fast as possible,” she replies.
“Try not to train too fast – you’ll worry Crow here,” Lilli spoke playfully.
“Fellow comrades should not injure themselves too much in training, that is all,” Crow says as he sounds refined, yet an emotion unknown to Alessia could be felt in his words.
“Isn’t your CDT going to start next week, Alex?” Lilli asks.
“Huh? Oh, yeah. It’s going to be easy as usual though.”
“Even though you slack off most of the time?” Crow asks with a raised eyebrow.
“I don’t slack off… most of the time. But that’s beside the point, Crow. I can’t possibly lose, especially when I have an ace up my sleeve,” he replies with a smirk.
“You should definitely see all three of us in action, Alessia, so you will know what level of skill you should expect,” Lilli says after finishing her cup of tea.
